How accurate is this test? It is an antigen test with near 100% Specificity — meaning if you are positive you have COVID-19.
What are you doing to ensure my safety and of others in the clinic? Both MEDHERO clinics practice the highest level of safety protocols to ensure the safety of all — from every patient to our own team. We are keeping our clinics sanitized with:
✅ Human safe hypochlorous acid to sanitize the entire clinic!
For extra measures, our brand-new Carlsbad location also has:
✅ UV filtering lights that kill viruses & filter our air every 15 minutes!
✅ Anti-microbial floors and all surfaces are constantly cleaned with antiviral detergents.
What does the procedure look like? Unlike the invasive deep nasopharyngeal swab, our COVID-testing swab is done just in the nostril! No discomfort necessary.
Will there be an outdoor clinic for COVID-19 testing? No need due to our air filtration system and hypochlorous acid protocols.
How do I prepare for/What do I need to bring if I walk in for COVID-19 testing? Simply wear a mask, if you do not have one, one will be provided.

If you or a family member suspect being exposed to COVID-19 and prefer not to get tested at a clinic, drop by our MEDHERO locations to pick up a take-home COVID-19 test box for $150.
Everything you need is conveniently packaged in a box including:
•Instructions that include registration information
•Test kit
•Paid postage
Once the test is taken, pack it up and send it out with the prepaid postage.
Give us a call ahead of time to pay over the phone and we’ll send the box out to your vehicle.
Note: COVID-19 tests are sent via mail to another lab for results and will take 2-3 days upon receipt to get your results. If you would like overnight shipping, feel free to pay for an upgrade to get your test results quicker.
