Yesterday (Wednesday, September 23), we received 113 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Greene County. Our current total is 6,202 confirmed cases.
As of this morning, there were 136 COVID-19 positive individuals hospitalized at either CoxHealth or Mercy Hospital Springfield. 42 of those individuals are Greene County residents.

In the midst of caring for thousands of patients today, including those fighting for their lives in our hospitals and ICUs, the women and men of Mercy mourned the death and injury of many in our nation's capital yesterday.

Two beautiful babies made their appearance early this morning bringing joy into the new year! Baby boy, Samuel Joseph, arrived at 7:57 a.m. to parents Alyssa and Cody.
