Midwest Moving Company is a fast growing local and long-distance moving company. We currently have 3 locations: West Fargo, ND, Rochester, MN, and Charlotte, NC and working towards opening a fourth location in Greely, CO. This is an entry level, full-time hourly paid position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am.- 4:30 pm with possibility of work on some weekends. We are looking for an individual who functions well in a high pace environment, can adapt to change, and has strong communication and critical thinking skills. The individual would ideally be able to interview as soon as possible and begin shortly thereafter.
Title of Position: Entry Level Bookkeeper/Sales Representative
Location: Rochester, MN
*Job Responsibilities
Record incoming payments from customers.
Tracking daily transactions.
Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts.
Process payments.
Conducting daily banking activities.
Producing various financial reports.
Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements.
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
Perform partial checks of the posting process.
Organize and scan receipts.
Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
Requirements
Preferred background/degree in Accounting/Finance.
Intermediate skills in MS Office, Excel, QuickBooks.
Bookkeeping experience.
Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills.
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Works well on a team, but doesn't need constant supervision.
Naturally friendly and outgoing.
Motivated by results.

Excellent and professional verbal and writing skills.
Technically savvy on a computer in multiple programs and software platforms.
