Winter plan phase 1 of 3 complete. We built a cool little awning (out of a pallet rack) complete with 2 mini burn barrels (kegs) and a few propane heaters. Friends, we have some unfortunate news. It came to our attention today that one of our staff members tested positive for COVID. That said, this person was enjoying their days off, and before returning to their work week was not feeling well, and has been out of the workplace for that entire duration of time. Fortunately they are currently doing well, as is everyone on staff but for the extra measures of safety for everyone we will be closed for a deep clean, and all members of staff to get tested (with negative results) before returning to work. Slizzard Hut service 1/23/21 CANCELED. That said we will be open normal hours for to go and patio service 7am-8pm fires lit, and heaters on. We have installed coverings around the entire bar for added safety. There is room for (5) groups of (2) people to wait inside, if we are at capacity you will need to wait outside until room allows. I had such a fun conversation with a dear friend Ryan, who does super rad stuff across so many spectrums. We have had so many long and deep conversations and it felt rewarding to get one on record to share with the rest of the world.
