Dr. Takahaski cares for patients with heart issues, offering cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery. She earned a medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and a masters in Public Health from the College of Health Sciences, both of Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed a residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. She received additional training through a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, New York.
Dr. Takahashi is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Association of Women Surgeons. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. She speaks English and is fluent in Japanese and medical Spanish.
