Monica Cortes Ardila, MSW
Monica is an English/Spanish bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing individual and family therapy for children with emotional and behavioral problems. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of California Los Angeles, followed by her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Southern California. Monica currently works at The Help Group as an outpatient therapist and prior to that she completed internships in multiple areas including with families with children with disabilities, children in the Child Abuse and Neglect Program, and adults that are HIV positive and at at-risk of being HIV positive. Monica is experienced in Evidenced Based Practices including Seeking Safety, Managing Adaptive Practice, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Monica is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers.
