We love a good, old-fashioned family game night! That's why we were so excited to partner with Connected HR and Neptune Plumbing to take the classic game night and gave it a digital twist. We used streaming so our participants could stay safely in their homes while being connected with everyone else for the exciting, competitive evening. Happy Halloween! Regardless of how you celebrate this year, we hope you have fun and stay safe!
As Daylight Saving Time comes to an end Saturday night/Sunday morning, be sure to switch those clocks back one hour before heading to bed. In addition to changing your clocks, this is also a good time to change out the batteries in all of your smoke detectors. It's a simple, yet possibly life saving, task that should be done twice a year. Once all of that's complete, you can head to bed to enjoy that extra hour of sleep!

Happy Hanukkah to all those who celebrate! May it be a bright and joyous holiday season! Of course, we have to include a helpful #plumbing tip: if you're in charge of making those greasy latkes, please DON'T pour the oil down your drain! It's best to either soak it up with paper towels and place them in your garbage or pour it into an empty glass jar to be thrown away.
There is no doubt that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. In the end, though, we are reminded of what is truly important in life: Family & Friends, Health & Wellness, and Love & Laughter.
As the holiday season begins, we join the rest of the world in reflecting on 2020 and its unexpected events and challenges. The crafting possibilities of empty toilet paper rolls seem to be endless. Here’s a Thanksgiving themed idea you can make with your little ones this week. For an added flair, write down what they are thankful for on the feathers, or place the names of each family member on the roll itself and use them as place holders at the table. Happy crafting!

#TBT to 1957 and the beginning of our story. Around the same time that Sanford Wallenstein and his wife Corinne were beginning to think of starting a plumbing company, they took a trip to Miami where they came across the Neptune Resort Motel. While a lot of things for their new company were still up in the air, they immediately knew that they had found the name for their business. What better fit for a #plumbing company than "Neptune", known as the god of freshwater and the sea. So that's how we received our name, during a relaxing vacation that took place over 60 years ago.
