Nicklaus Children's Dan Marino Outpatient Center is a center for the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of children with special needs. The Center, developed as a partnership between the Dan Marino Foundation and Nicklaus Children's Hospital is a not-for-profit entity fully owned by Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital. Since this center's inception in 1998, it has grown rapidly and is now providing neurological and developmental services to children throughout South Florida as well as South America and Europe. The Dan Marino Outpatient Center also coordinates community outreach projects that include the services of specialized medical and allied healthcare professionals, educational organizations, volunteer programs, and parent support organizations.
The Nicklaus Children's Dan Marino Outpatient Center is comprised of outpatient evaluation and treatment professionals serving the health care needs of children, adolescents and young adults from birth through 21 years of age.
Diagnostic Services available include:
Electroencephalogram (EEG) / Video EEG, BERA,
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with and without sedation
Walk in X-ray

Rehabilitation Services include:
Physical, occupational, speech-language, and feeding and swallowing therapies
Augmentative and alternative communication evaluations (AAC)
Aquatic therapy
Orthopedic physical therapy
Applied behavior analysis (ABA)
Pediatric Subspecialists provide consultations.
Pediatric Care Center providing general pediatric care from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with limited Saturday hours
Pediatric Subspecialty Services are available at this center.
