The City of Oakley is thrilled to announce that the first tenant of the Contra Costa Logistics Center is Amazon!
A formal announcement and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 7th.
An Amazon fulfillment center will occupy the 150,000-square-foot Building #1 at the Contra Costa Logistics Center Complex. Once the project is complete (which is anticipated within four years) five buildings, totaling 2 million-square-feet will house a variety of light industrial and logistics uses, providing nearly 2,000 jobs to the community.
Mayor Kevin Romick said the center will be a major economic development engine for East Contra Costa County for years to come.
