To enter, simply snap a picture of your pet in a Halloween costume and send it to Northpointe@NVA.com. Please include a short bio on your pet as well as your name and contact information. This contest is open to Washington state Northpointe clients only. Entries close on November 1st.

The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.
Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

UPDATE: Leo has been spotted in our neighborhood (The Highlands neighborhood) twice on the corner of 126th St SE and 68th Ave SE. The first sighting was on Friday midday and he was seen again today about an hour ago running from yard to yard into bushes. We have been walking the area on foot calling for him but have not found him. We will be going back to that area tonight to look with flashlights. Please keep a lookout for him!
It’s been one week, and Leo is still missing. We miss him so much, and we haven’t given up hope! Last seen in the Highlands neighborhood off of Cathcart/134th on Saturday 12/12/2020. 1 year old male neutered Bengal cat. Not wearing a collar but he is microchipped. Feel free to share and spread the word! Please message me on here if you have any information. Thank you.

She is a graduate of University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up on a horse farm on the East Coast and developed a love for taking care of animals from a young age. Dr. Freeman obtained her undergraduate degree at Duke University and her masters in business administration at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and consulted in the technology industry prior to veterinary school.
