1. Avoid caffeine or drinking alcohol prior to the sleep study, as it may affect your sleep.
2. Avoid naps during the day prior to the sleep study to ensure sufficient sleep overnight.
3. Notify your physician of your medications, as they may affect your sleep and the results of the sleep study.
4. Bring comfortable clothes, pillow etc. (anything that you may need) to get a comfortable sleep the night of the sleep study.
We offer at home sleep tests in all of our offices. Simply bring the equipment home, complete the sleep study in the comfort of your own bed, then return the equipment to the office. Your doctor will then meet with you to review the results and implement a treatment plan.
