Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiological examinations as required by staff physicians. Job Summary: The Dietary Aide is under general supervision of the Dietary Manager and assists with meal preparation, dining room assistance, dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen. Assists in the kitchen area prior to, during, and after meals are served to patients, staff and visitors. Assists in maintaining the kitchen work areas, and keep equipment, utensils and serving areas clean and orderly. Essential Job Functions: • Assists cooks with meal preparation, as directed • Takes food orders via telephone and fax • Washes hands before handling food to be served, before touching clean dishes and utensils, and after touching anything soiled • Carries out certain duties routinely without direction such as wrapping silverware and filling condiment containers in the dining rooms • Properly operates the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays and silverware • Washes pots, pans and processing equipment • Maintains daily cleaning tasks and makes sure they are completed to regulations of state and federal agencies. Cleans dish machine and dish room area • Cleans and sanitizes food delivery equipment • Completes the final clean-up in the dish washing are to include the pot and pan area, cleaning floor, floor mats and drains. Makes sure all sinks are cleaned out and counter tops are cleaned and sanitized • Verifies meal requests for accuracy, before leaving the kitchen and when delivering patient and guest meals • Helps prepare, portion, wrap, cover, date mark, label and refrigerate food for meal(s) assigned • Sets up trays and serving carts according to established procedures, delivers to all areas of the hospital and notifies staff. Job Summary: The Short Stay RN will perform in a variety of care areas. The Pre-Op nurse is responsible for setting up the care of the patient. Creates and maintains a safe environment for the patient’s procedure or surgery. The Nurse directs the nursing care through assessment, outcome identification, planning and evaluation skills and coordinates activities of the surgical team for the benefit of the patient. The Procedure nurse directs and/or provides professional perioperative nursing care for patients across the age continuum. The Nurse utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care and manages all nursing care within the procedure room, observing the procedural team from a broad perspective, and assisting the team to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient. The PACU nurse assesses and documents patient’s status post procedure and provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to condition and type of anesthesia administered and monitors patient and informs MD and anesthesia provider of any observed complications. The Short Stay RN educates and provides post-op instructions and information.
