OBGYN GROUP OF EASTERN CT
Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or a Physician Assistant
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant with solid OBGYN experience and antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.). The ideal candidate also is someone that possesses a strong team spirit.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develops and implements patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Basic Qualifications
• Master of Science Degree with completion of an accredited, NP, PA or CNM program required
• Current State Licensure
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing patient care is required
• DEA eligible
Ideal Qualifications
• 2+ years’ experience
• Licensure in the state of Connecticut preferred

WE are happy to announce our newest provider joining us as of January 4, 2021! Please help us welcome Richard Wintermute, MD.
Dr. Richard Wintermute grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He completed his medical school training and residency in OB/GYN at the University of New Mexico. He moved to Connecticut in 2013 to experience the Northeast. Dr. Wintermute is interested in minimally invasive surgery, contraceptive management and pap test management. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been board certified since 2016.
In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his two boys and his partner. They enjoy camping, boating on the Connecticut river, vacationing and watching movies.
