With this year's FLU SEASON arriving during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to get a flu shot.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Maury Regional Medical Group (MRMG) clinicians recommend everyone age 6 months and older get a flu vaccine before November 1, unless otherwise directed by their physician.

Most insurance providers cover the cost of flu vaccination and we will file insurance for your convenience. For those who choose to pay out-of-pocket, the cost is $40 (regular dose) or $60 (high dose).
Maury Regional Medical Group practices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Please call ahead to our offices if you need medication refills or other assistance. MRMG offices will reopen at the regular time on Tuesday.

Three hospital medicine physicians have joined the medical staff at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Doreen B. Arinaitwe, M.D., is a specialist in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Arinaitwe received her medical degree from the School of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
Michael R. Hallenbeck, M.D., is a specialist in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Hallenbeck received his medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
Vanessa M. Henri, M.D., is a specialist in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Henri received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.

Maury Regional Health is experiencing phone outages. Emergency communications are not impacted; however, main public lines cannot currently receive incoming calls at the following locations:

• Lewis Health Center – Hohenwald

Maury Regional Medical Group family medicine specialist Robert E. Bilbao, M.D., has joined the Columbia practice of MRMG Primary Care and Rheumatology.
Dr. Bilbao has been associated with MRMG and its Mt. Pleasant primary care practice since 2019. Dr. Bilbao joins primary care specialists John Roberts, D.O., Elizabeth Farrell, NP-C, and Mary Ann Johnson, P.A., and Rheumatologist Bill Bailey, M.D., in the Columbia practice.
