Happy New Year!
Dr. West had the pleasure of meeting Russell, a WWII veteran who was among the first wave of soldiers on Omaha Beach, Normandy, France in the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944. Ophthalmology Ltd. appreciates our vets and all they have done to make and keep us safe. Many soldiers did not make it off of that beach on that horrible day. Russell is definitely a survivor and one of the few remaining veterans from the beach that day. We are so glad his sight is as good today as it was when he was invading France. The plane in the background is artwork done by local artist, John Mollison. His art focuses on military air world history. www.JohnMollison.com Ophthalmology Ltd. and Dr. West want to thank Russell for his service, his sacrifice, and for fighting to protect our freedom.
