Do you ever wonder how spirits receive their awards and accolades? Hotel Valencia’s Food and Beverage Director, Jonathan Whitwell, was asked to be part of a panel of judges for the 2020 Bartender Spirits Wards. The judges were asked to evaluate 53 spirits in Taste, Mouthfeel, Finish, Mixability, Balance, Versatility, Bottle, Package, and Price all this in the safety of their homes. After nearly two decades of working in the industry, this was an extremely rewarding experience for him.
