Pamela J. Warner, DO, received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology from Georgia State University, in Atlanta, GA, and a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, AL. She went on to receiver her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, GA. Dr. Warner completed her internship in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Stratford, NJ, and her residency in orthopaedic surgery from Rowan University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford. Before coming to Hughston, she completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery at Georgia Orthopaedic Trauma Institute in Macon, GA.
Dr. Warner is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO Trauma Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association of Orthopaedics, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Sports medicine and other organizations. Dr. Warner has published an article in the American Journal of Orthopaedics on Salter-Harris growth plate fractures and she is currently working on an article on lateral compression fractures in the elderly.
The focus of Dr. Warner’s orthopaedic practice is acute fracture surgery, treating complex fractures requiring reconstruction, and other trauma related injuries.
