In-person absentee voting began yesterday in South Carolina. If you will be working, will be out of town, or are physically unable to go to the polls on Election Day (November 6) you can vote now at the Horry County Voter Registration Office located at 1515 Fourth Avenue in downtown Conway.
Not registered to vote yet? No problem! Due to Hurricane Florence and the recent flooding, the state extended the deadline to register and you now have until October 17th. More info on registering to vote can be found at https://www.scvotes.org/south-carolina-voter-registration-information.

With our healthcare partners, we were able to safely evacuate 317 patients before Hurricane Florence and today we were able to reopen our ER & Trauma Center to care for our community. #strongertogether

COMING HOME? CHECK YOUR ROUTE FIRST!
Now that the evacuation for Horry and Georgetown counties has been lifted, many of you are returning home. Before you do, PLEASE check to see if any of the return routes are closed. We have catastrophic flooding in parts of Robeson, Dillon, Marlboro, and Marion counties. Some roads are closed including portions of I-95.

Myrtle Beach is a ghost town tonight. Last time I saw it this empty was before Bertha in 1996 and Floyd in 1999. Video via Robbie Bischoff.
