With what Governor Justice has stated with a strongly recommended “stay at home policy”, and our decision to place paramount the health and safety of all of us, we are taking the following steps on all matters at our office:
1. On all real estate closings, only the buyers and sellers shall appear. Friends and non-essential (meaning they are not a party to the transaction) shall not appear at the settlement.
2. On all real estate closings, real estate agents and loan officers shall not appear at the settlement. We will have measures in place to allow both agents and loan officers to appear by phone.
3. Separate closing times will be our preference this week and shall become our requirement next week, meaning buyers and sellers should anticipate they will be asked to execute their documents at different times.
4. No persons, other than employees, will be permitted in any parts of our office other than the waiting area and conference rooms.
