😻 Erin and Boretta were college friends in 2008 at Mānoa and have shared a bond ever since! They are passionate about taking care of others and saw a dire need of a humane place to board cats in Honolulu.
😻 It was during a two-week trip away from Hawai’i when Erin realized that there was no place to take her cat that could provide the comfort and space that she experiences at her own home.
😻 Knowing that others feel the same, they pounced on the opportunity to create a luxury cat hotel for all cat owners! They envisioned a space that is clean and cage-free with more room to provide attention while their families are away!

😻 In Istanbul, the word “kedi” describes more than just a fury creature with four legs and a tail. Kedi represents the soul of a creature that connects with the entire community.
🐾 Kedi, meaning “cat” in Turkish, is a friend of the people. Hundreds of stray cats roam around in the city of Istanbul, where they are treated as family to all of the humans that live there. People see the same familiar feline faces each day, feeding them, petting them, sterilizing them, and taking care of them.
🐈 It is the duty of the Turkish people to guard their kedi, as they would their eclectic history and culture.
😻 On O’ahu, we are very similar to the people of Turkey. We have thousands of stray cats roaming amongst our neighborhoods and businesses. We all know of a sweet family that feeds the feral cats and calls them ohana.

@catpeopleofoahu is a local organization that provides amazing services for the kitties in our community! They have a passion beyond words for cats and have many kitties that need homes!
We have extended the kitties available in our private hotel suites, where you can play with these cats and kittens!
We will also be providing the most recent cats available on our IG & website, just like normal!
Kitties adopted through us will also receive a free night’s stay at our luxury cat hotel!
We have already found 2 homes for cats over the weekend that were cared for by The Cat People of Oahu! One of them is Ginger, here! 😻
