At Premier Neurology Group, founder Ravinder Singh, MD, combines Western neurological medicine with traditional Eastern medicine to help heal the brain and promote full-body wellness. While Dr. Singh works with all neurology patients, he specializes in the treatment of strokes, seizures and epilepsy, chronic headaches, and neck and back pain. He has helped many patients overcome these debilitating issues through both modern medicine and the healing arts of the East.
Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in the West Indies before completing his neurology residency at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center/University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned the position of Chief Resident in Neurology. In addition, Dr. Singh completed a fellowship in neuroscience and traumatic brain injuries.
Throughout his tenure as a neurologist, Dr. Singh served as a clinical instructor in neurology at UCLA and an assistant professor at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. He was named head of the stroke center at King-Drew Medical Center, also located in Los Angeles.
Along with his practice and teaching, Dr. Singh serves on multiple organizational boards, including the American Heart Association (where he spent some time as the president of the LA division) and the Stroke Association of Southern California. He is an active member of the American Headache Society. Due to his renowned experience and expertise, he has engaged in hundreds of presentations and has lectured at over 100 hospitals.
