Last month we launched our new and exclusive Harmony & Heart™ program, which combines music, children’s literature, and character development through our very own books and songs. Each month we take time to learn more about one Friend in particular. This month, your child will be learning more about Katie®, the curious cat who is interested in people’s lives and social skills. During Small Group Math, our Preschool students looked at nonfiction books about plants and animals while asking the children what they see on each page that shows math. The students looked for patterns, shapes, opportunities to compare sizes and quantities such as taller or shorter, larger or smaller, more or less.
This week is Pumpkin Decorating Contest Week! Pumpkins are due on Monday, October 19th and the contest will run throughout the week and the winner will be announced on Friday!
