WONDER TIME 2: Kinetic Body Drawings
-We talked about kinetic and how it means movement. We laid on a large piece of paper and move our arms like we are making a snow angle and have crayons in our hands so we can see our movements.

Today we learned about shapes, we had cut out shapes from orange construction paper and used our math skills of finding the best shapes to fit inside of our pumpkin. We glued our pieces into our pumpkin and we created a fun pumpkin collage.
Wonder Time 1:
Today in Early Preschool 1 we looked at our toy baby and counted it’s feet and toes. Then we walked around the classroom to feel how different it feels to walk on tile verses carpet! 🦶

Today in Preschool: In Science center we are using our magnifying glasses and rulers to observe bugs and leaves. When we observe we use our sense of sight!

Friday February 5th is
Pre School 2-Small Group Literature 📚
We took a look at our Primrose Friend Phonics cards. After finishing the phonics cards, we traced the letter Ll. This was one of our letters from the cards! 🦁 The letter Ll makes a /l/ /l/ /l/ sound, we practiced saying that together /l/ /l/ for /l/ ion.
Today Young Toddlers had fun exploring the blue color.
Pre K Small Group Literacy
High Frequency Words Show the word cards for I, can, and my. I asked the children to write the words on index cards and put the words in their word packets. If the children have difficulty writing the words, I will write the words on the cards for them with a yellow marker and have them trace the words. 📚

Circle Time
It’s been a while since we’ve visited our Primrose Patch. Who remembers where our garden is? Today we are going to walk together out to our Primrose Patch. While we are out there, we are going to look for any signs of life. We’re going to take our magnifying lenses and microscope to get a close look at the plants. 🍃
