We placed this sign for many reasons, but the most important ones spend hours each day inside of our building, either as teachers of your children, or as students learning how to navigate the world. We have a diverse workforce and diverse student population and it’s important to us that everyone knows that we do not stand for racial injustice.
Our staff has been personally affected by the issues that Black Lives Matters is active against. With the NBA and other organizations showing their support, we feel like doing our part.
Also, this is not support for any individual political candidate, but for a set of policies.
Our solar panels are continuing to deliver and, combined with our battery, have a rate of return of 15%.
The system has produced 18.9 megawatts of electricity since being installed, or slightly more than 2 tons of coal.
Health and safety of our children is very important at our school. We now have all new HVAC systems, HEPA filters in every room and touchless faucets.
The county seems to have solved their IT problems for the day. Congratulations to everyone! The virtual learning is continuing!

Normally I wouldn't think about putting up decorations until after Thanksgiving, but I think we all need a little cheer to round out this year right now.
