Happy Anniversary, Ms. Kelsey! Ms. Kelsey has been with us for two years now! She is the lead teacher in our Private Pre-Kindergarten 2 classroom and leads with excitement and dedication. Ms. Kelsey is a strong teacher who teaches with pride, as it is evident that she loves what she does everyday. She puts her heart into her work and wants her students to reach their milestones with confidence. Ms. Kelsey enjoys baseball, Broadway, and Disney as she dances through life! We are grateful Ms. Kelsey is here with us at Primrose School of Woodstock!
Please join us in congratulating Ms. Katlyn on being the Apple of our Eye for October! Ms. Katlyn works in our Toddler classroom alongside Ms. Maria and Ms. Raven. She is a hard working, compassionate, and very fun young lady! Molly the Cow is her favorite Primrose Puppet which is fitting considering Molly stands for respecting others and Ms. Katlyn is certainly one who respects all, no matter how different they may be from her. We are thankful that Ms. Katlyn is here with us at Primrose School of Woodstock!
Congratulations to our Family of the Month: the Neals! We are grateful to have this friendly, sincere, and humble family here with us at Primrose School of Woodstock! Swain is a confident, courteous, and funny boy who is growing up fast and brings such cordiality to our school. Coy is very genuine and continues to share his friendship and loyalty to us as the years go by. We are thankful to have this family be a part of our larger Primrose Woodstock family!
Reading is an adventure! We had fun representing our favorite comic book characters!
At Primrose Schools, we pride ourselves on helping our children learn that respecting others is important. This month our students are learning how people are alike and different, cultural awareness and the importance of valuing others.
Today, students shared their traditions, favorite family stories and routines with all of their classmates. Here are just a few exciting captures from today's event!
Children’s recognition of their name in print, is one of the very first ways they begin to understand marks have meaning; this is the foundation for reading and writing. Taking their name and signing into the classroom each morning is just one way we offer independent writing experiences to our Preschool and Prekindergarten students. This builds a sense of community and confidence in their learning environment.
Please help us congratulate our November Apple of the Eye Ms. Kelsey! Ms. Kelsey is our Private Pre-K 2 Lead teacher. Her enthusiasm each day that she brings to her classroom and lessons is incredible. She is always going the extra mile to ensure her children are engaged, learning and having fun! We are so happy she is part of our Primrose Woodstock Family!

Social emotional development starts on day one of a baby's life. Our curriculum helps develop skills in the youngest of our infants! We model language and encourage serve and return by providing these social opportunities each day!
At Primrose School of Woodstock, we are learning to take care of our toys, books and other supplies in our classroom. Ally knows the importance of practicing responsibility. Cleaning up toys with Ally is a great way to get started at home: https://bit.ly/3fJJi3y
Feel free to share pictures of cleaning up or taking care of your toys. We love to see our friends showing responsibility!
These are just a few of the heroes of Primrose School of Woodstock. While COVID mitigation and staffing has not been easy, the commitment to maintaining our Pod system and a healthy school has been possible because of our incredibly dedicated teachers! Many have worked long hours, stayed late, come in early and even elected to take no breaks on certain days! They continue to provide the best educational experience while maintaining the safety and security of all the children in their classrooms. To us, they are not just essential workers, they are HEROES!

Meet the Primrose Friends!
Children need to develop proper finger muscles and control before they learn to write. Not only does dough help develop these fine motor skills, it also promotes creativity and builds literacy and numeracy skills. Each of our students have their own container of dough to enjoy molding, creating, counting, rolling, squishing and flattening! What great hands-on learning!
We had so much fun celebrating 100 days of school!
Congratulations to Ms Kelsey and Ms Izzy for best dressed teacher contest!
At Primrose Schools, We Believe Who Children Become is as Important as What They Know! Yesterday, we celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our students read books about kindness, caring and acceptance others, even when they differ from ourselves. These were just some of the values Dr. King held dear to his heart. Our school's Harmony and Heart Character Development program will continue to instill these values in our students. See some of the great books we shared and a few of the friendship art projects we had fun making!
