Proverbial Reflection and Reminiscence Activity
Today, our residents reminisced about the “Good Ole Days” when they enjoyed simple pleasures like eating an ole fashioned peanut butter sandwich. They enjoyed making their own sandwich (some a bit creative than others) and experiencing the taste of peanut butter and their favorite flavor of jelly. Thanks to our wonderful caregivers... we pulled it off and recreated the experience for our residents. The videos tell the story!

It’s a lovely casual day! I’m admiring the residents’ focus while painting and tapping into their creative minds. I applaud our weekend Supervisor and caregiver team for supporting and encouraging our residents to remain engaged in activities that stimulate cognitive health. Well done!!!

If admission is not possible during those dates, but will occur shortly after during the month of May 2020, the residents may still take advantage of the discount if they “hold a bed.”

A Week of Treats, No Tricks and Proverbial Pumpkin Carving... We enjoyed every day this week: full of love, laughter, good food, fun costumes, and creativity! Looking forward to ending 2020 in thanks and giving. (Thank God for all participating resident, staff and pumpkin carving team.)
National COMPLIMENT Day!
Today’s activity was hosted by our very own... Leah Saulsberry! Leah planned and coordinated a creative activity that allowed our residents and staff an opportunity to compliment one another. Of course, she prepared snacks, this time in a fun “personalized” snack bag (full of goodies). Also in the lovely bag were special compliments. She also served a healthy beverage of choice. Residents took turns reading out compliments, sharing with one another, and then sat together while snacking. At the end of the activity, the residents struck a picture pose with a kind smile.
Feeling especially grateful for all residents, families, and staff. Great day!
