Todayโs cold weather inspired this braces friendly recipe! Warm up with a bowl of hearty vegetable soup thatโs jam packed with vitamins to help boost immunity!
Ingredients:
โข 1 medium chopped yellow onion
โข 2 large chopped red bell peppers
โข 4 medium carrots peeled and chopped
โข 3 celery stalks chopped
โข 2 cups of baby spinach
โข 3 medium potatoes peeled and chopped
โข 1 1/2 cups or green beans
โข 5 cups of low sodium vegetable broth
โข 2 bay leaves
โข 1 teaspoon of parsley flakes
โข 4 tablespoons of tomato paste
โข 3 table spoons of olive oil
Directions:
1. Warm olive oil in large pot and sautรฉ red peppers, carrots and onions until soft.
2. Stir in broth, tomato paste, and potatoes. Season with thyme, parsley, salt and pepper.
3. Bring soup to a boil, add bay leaves, green beans, and spinach.
4. Reduce heat to medium low, cover, and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes.
5. Remove bay leaves and enjoy!

As you may have already heard Governor Abbott lifted the Covid-19 mask mandate as of March 10th, 2021. However, businesses can continue with their current Covid-19 safety policies.

Here at Pure Smiles Orthodontics, we will continue applying the safety measures we have been using for the past year. Therefore, we will still require masks in the clinic, restricted building occupancy, health check questionnaire and temperature checks.
