SEVERAL VEHICLES STOLEN DURING MORNING HOURS IN ST. PETERS
St. Peters Police Department is currently working 7 (seven) stolen vehicles from various neighborhoods in our city. All vehicles were left unattended, running and unlocked.
The vehicles were all stolen between approximately 5 AM and 8:20 AM. This is what is looked like (times are approximate):
5:12 AM – Vehicle stolen from Summerwinds Condominium.
5:32 AM – Vehicle stolen from Brookmount Apartments.
6:05 AM – Vehicle stolen from Bellemeade Subdivision. It was recovered a few blocks away from victim’s address.
7:07 AM – Vehicle stolen from Aspen Ridge Subdivision. Recovered in St. Louis City at 9:40 AM with the VIN plate removed.
7:17 AM - Vehicle stolen from Country Crossing Subdivision. Recovered in St. Louis City at 9:40 AM with the VIN plate covered.
7:30 AM – Vehicle stolen from Country Crossing Subdivision. Recovered in St. Louis City at 9:40 AM with the VIN plate covered.
8:20 AM – Vehicle stolen from Spencer Creek Apartments.
Police departments throughout the region, to include St. Peters, have been experiencing a rash of car thefts for many months now. Police agencies have used social media, city newsletters, and various media outlets to remind vehicle owners not to leave their vehicles running unattended, unlocked or key fobs inside of unattended/unlocked vehicles.
As a general rule, majority of these crimes do not involve forced entry and almost 100% of the time the vehicles were running and/or the key fob was left inside the unlocked vehicle.
St. Peters Police Officers are continuously patrolling neighborhoods throughout the morning, afternoon and evening hours however, we cannot be everywhere at once. In order to reduce crime in our community, we rely on our residents and business owners to take away those crimes of opportunity by locking vehicles and removing key fobs from vehicles, every single time.
The St. Peters Criminal Investigation Division and patrol officers are currently following up with each case in attempts of locating the vehicle, suspects and any further evidence.
Did you know that Pure is big into Recycling? Here's some information on how you can help. Thursdays are the pickup for blue bags, which can be obtained through the city, or through the office!
Recycling is part of our community's effort to be more sustainable and save money to keep costs low for our customers. Recycling saves money in two ways: 1) We resell recycled materials, and 2) We reduce landfill tipping fees.

The Rockies are paying a top 5 position player(probably #3) 8.3 million per year to play for us, we get his age 30-35 seasons at that discount, and we gave up little to snag him.
