About

PUSH San Diego is a one-of-a-kind integrative natural wellness practice that specializes in infertility, prenatal, and postpartum care. This traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture clinic is conveniently centered in San Diego near the Hillcrest, University Heights, and Mission Hills neighborhoods.
The team at PUSH San Diego has expertise in helping women achieve balance and wellness throughout every stage of pregnancy. They provide compassionate in-office care but can also travel to patients’ homes, birth centers, or hospital rooms when patients are in labor. The team regularly works with couples, including LGBTQ folks, who are experiencing difficulty getting or staying pregnant.
PUSH San Diego offers a dynamic menu of services, including tuina massage, cosmetic acupuncture, navel cupping, and smokeless moxibustion, to name a few. Practitioners also specialize in AcuGraph® exams from Miridia Technology, which provides real-time insights into meridian energy and balance. This innovative technology combines ancient Chinese medicine and modern-day technology. We utilize EarSeeds® for fertility, pain, natural promotion of labor, and many other conditions. We sell New Mama EarsSeed kits that are great for the end of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Patients can also select from a variety of premium doTERRA® essential oils during their services.
The practice sells several research-driven products, such as Conceivable customized supplements and Blue Poppy® Chinese herbs, all designed to support a healthy body at any time in life, but especially surrounding pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum stage. Because PUSH San Diego offers so many unique modalities for normal to high-risk and complex pregnancies, patients often experience promising results, even if doctors told them they could never get pregnant.
PUSH San Diego is dedicated to giving patients hope through dedicated and personalized support. The team is available when patients need them most, even nights and weekends.

Could you please help spread the word to find women for this study. One of my friends' niece, Lex Zollo, is doing her Ph.D. at Fordham and looking for women between the age of 18-35 who have had to have an emergency c-section during COVID. This is a quick 45 minute paid interview for anyone that wishes to participate. Here is more info: Are you a woman between the ages of 18 and 35 who has experienced an emergency c-section during COVID-19? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study about women’s experiences of emergency cesarean sections. All eligible participants who complete interviews will receive $10. 📷📷 My name is Alexis Zollo. I am a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University working with Dr. Merle Keitel on an IRB-approved research study. I am in the process of interviewing women who have experienced an emergency cesarean section during the coronavirus pandemic (March 2020 through present-day). I look forward to hearing from you. All interviews are completely confidential. Interviews will be conducted over the phone at a time that is convenient for you and will take 45 minutes to one hour. The interview will give you an opportunity to discuss your experience, and the results will be used to help practitioners and clinicians develop the most supportive and competent care for women giving birth. Contact me at azollo1@fordham.edufor more information. Thanks in advance to all who participate.

💛Hi friends! I recently connected to a new friend/professional that I want to introduce you all to. Tracy Gilmour is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified perinatal mental health professional. Sadly in 2020, she had a 3rd trimester stillborn. As you all know I lost my first baby many years ago at term due to a cord accident. We are both super passionate about advocating for women’s health and addressing these topics that are not commonly talked about. ❤️ 💜We want to answer any and all difficult questions surrounding fertility, pregnancy, infant loss, traumatic birth, grief, basically all the questions no one else wants to discuss. 🧡What are your questions? 💚 💙Please send us a message either publically or privately and we plan to do a recorded video addressing all of these topics soon. 🤎Join us in helping to de-stigmatize maternal mental health, infant, and pregnancy loss. Together we can make a difference. #pregnancyloss, #miscarriage, #infantloss, #stillbirth, #pregnancy, #maternalmentalhealth, #womenshealth, #traumaticbirth
The fear of the unknown can be a scary and daunting thought during pregnancy. There are so many new feelings, thoughts, and body sensations. This can be fear of the change in identity from single or coupled to now having a child to care for. It could be fear of pain during birth. It is normal to have some fears during pregnancy but the best way to keep calm is to regularly attend your doctor or midwife visits, and get educated on pregnancy and birth. Education equals empowerment. Take a class, research, or read a couple of books on the topic. You will be glad you did! Did you know I have a birth prep class? LMK if you’d like more information.
Labor and birth can be daunting, and without the proper education and confidence, it can become frightening. But you don’t have to be scared. This should be an exciting time for you, your partner, your family, and your support team. You are not alone. My new course on preparing the body for labor and birth is now accepting students for next month's LIVE class! Let me help you learn how to ease your mind and your body for a healthy and happy birth! With resources like massage, acupressure, birthing positions, anatomy knowledge, and more, I can help you build the confidence and wisdom you need for a happy birthing. Link in comments.
