Almost.
This was not an easy change out, but we put our heads together and got it done. A furnace only changeout turned into a furnace and coil. Due to a rusted out drain pan. Then correcting the duct work. What should have been a 1 day changeout turned into 2 days.
Look at all of that beautiful duct work. One of my favorite parts of the trade.
It's bound to happen sooner or later. This is a system that we installed 6 months ago that failed. With no hassle from the manufacturer, we were able to replace the air conditioner at no cost to the customer.

What a pain in the rectal area this one was. Someone put a furnace in a coat closet and you could only access the unit through a hole cut in the wall of a bedroom closet. Which is a huge no-no! So we worked with the homeowner to make the closet larger to properly install a new high efficient furnace and air conditioner. Thanks for the work, Sam!
Here is a community development job that we did today. If you are in a situation where you need a new furnace but you can't afford it, there are grants available that can help you. Like anything else, there are hoops you'll need to jump through, but it's a great option if you own your home along with meeting a few other requirements.
Be sure to exercise your right today to Vote! There couldn't be a more perfect day to do it.
2 more recent changeouts that we completed. Thanks for the work!
Here's another recent changeout, thanks for the work! A new high efficient furnace, air conditioner, and a new whole house humidifier. I don't know about you, but I get pretty bad nose bleeds during the winter without my humidifier.

We decided today to not renew our membership with the Better Business Bureau, as long as Mike Williams heating and cooling is a part of it, we don't want to be.
Duct work in another new house. If you're building a new house or remodeling and you want a perfectly balanced and sized HVAC system. Then you need to give us a call. We go by the book!
We hope you all have a great new year! And be sure to start off 2021right by changing the air filter in your furnace. 😀
I'm sure you may be as ready as we are for bars and restaurants to open back up. Know that AJ's in Chatham will be ready for you. We just finished installing 160,000btu's of radiant heat in their outdoor area. Thanks for the work guys!
Change. Your. Air Filter! If you don't know how, we can help.
Be careful who you are calling to fix your equipment. Some of these companies look like shiny happy people on line, but they're out for your money and nothing else. These guys in these orange trucks with tiger stripes painted all over are the new Michael Williams in town. They charged one of our customers $425 for a part that her furnace doesn't even have. Better yet, her furnace is still well within the 5 year manufacturer warranty, so the part that she paid out the wazoo for should have been free. I explained this to her and I said "I don't even know who you can contact about this, maybe the better business bureau? " and she said to me " don't worry about it honey, I'm going to let God take care of it ". Can't argue with that. Be careful out there, and change your air filter!
Remember this one? This is the one where the customer had a new air conditioner installed 7 years ago that has never worked right from day one. The contractor put a "N" coil where a "A" coil belongs. The problem that was created was a huge restriction in air flow which killed the furnace and summer time utility bills. I can't wait to hear back from this customer this summer. $400 a month to cool a 1,100sf house is insane.
This was a tough one. The furnace was not working so I found it had a bad gas valve. Replaced it and quickly found the next problem. The heat exchanger plugged up and rusted from the inside out. How do you verify that you may ask? You literally have to take the whole furnace apart to put some eyes on the heat exchanger. (Insert Will Ferrell meme here) well that escalated quickly. We went from a $78 service call to a $523 gas valve to $7k for a whole new system (gas valve money was refunded). So here we are. We replaced a 10 year old heat pump with gas back up heat with a high efficient furnace and a 16 seer air conditioner.
While driving from job to job I can't help but notice all the other HVAC companies have all the trucks just sitting in the lot. I would like to thank all our customers and friends for keeping us busy even during the slow times. Victor and I are truly blessed to have great customers and friends.
