I say a big thank you do they almost 19,000 people who voted for me for reelection for Republican state committee man I am humbled by your confidence but after three straight wins for a total of 12 years and my many wins as vice-chairman before that all things must come to an end. The moratorium on foreclosures is over if you have one to file or if you need to defend one we do that kind of work. Also the moratorium on non covid-19 evictions is over we also do that kind of work. The only restrictions that remain on foreclosures are ones that are federally subsidized. There is a eviction moratorium still in effect on the federal level if it can be directly tied to covid-19.

Today was one of many good days at our law office. I won a big long highly contested hearing and I settled two big cases. Also one of the people we help protect lived to The ripe old age of 108 thanks to our efforts and others she lived her last year's happily.
For those of you who are not yet aware there is an extension to file and pay your 2020 tax return it is May 17th instead of April 15th any questions give us a call. We have not yet done many of our clients tax returns because the IRS is way behind in updates and in fact I got a last major update a week ago. I like doing tax returns once not twice. We have a very expensive tax preparation software and they are very diligent about updating when the IRS does so. Plus some of you who filed in paper in 2019 may still be receiving letters that you didn't file your tax returns that is not correct assuming you did. this is a reason why all communication to the IRS needs to be certified signed receipt. They are not equipped to have people work from home and do the covid they cannot have people working there cubicle farms. Last year I was filing matters with the IRS in April same with the tax Court and they were not even opening the envelope until July.
