Reminder - it is nearly time for elections; you can’t vote if you are not registered. If you have just turned 18, or will be 18 on or by November 3, moved, or just aren’t sure, you need to update your voter registration. Call 888-0404 if you have questions. You can pick up a voter registration card at any US Post Office. If you go to one in Nueces County and they are out, be sure to let me know, we will get them replenished! MUST BE REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 5th!

There was a dramatic shift in forecast direction of Tropical Storm Marco in the afternoon update, today. The change takes attention away from South Texas, and toward Louisiana for not only Marco, but Laura as well. Newest cones take Marco into Louisiana Monday night/Tuesday morning as a category one hurricane. Laura in to Louisiana as a category one, one day later - Wednesday afternoon. Incredible.
Updated Note: this is not a “final” forecast. There will be adjustments all the way to landfall.
