Dr. Robert Marx is an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Public Health at Weill Cornell Medical College. One of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors in New York,” Dr. Marx specializes in arthroscopic and open procedures for knee and shoulder problems, including knee and shoulder joint replacement surgery. As director of the Foster Center for Clinical Outcome Research, Dr. Marx is also involved in research aimed at improving patient care. He has published three books and over 180 peer-reviewed publications. He has also lectured on surgical techniques nationally and internationally.
