He is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. This means his education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the American College of Surgeons. After private practice in Yakima, Dr. Salama opened his practice in Bellevue in 1997. He is on staff at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland and Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
