While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Kibbe, played football at John Hopkins University. In his senior year, he had a sports injury that required treatment and began his interest in Sports Medicine. Dr. Kibbe received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toledo and finished his residency training at the University of Louisville Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Kibbe completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Beacon Orthopaedics in Cincinnati, OH. He has provided medical team coverage for the Cincinnati Reds, Xavier University, Morehead State University and Arch Bishop Moeller High School sports programs. While his primary focus is Sports Medicine specializing in baseball injuries, "Tommy John" surgery, shoulder injuries, fractures and overuse injuries, he also sees patients with general orthopedic issues including arthritis and knee and hip replacement surgery.
