Our Thrift Store team has been working hard to enhance our customer's shopping experience. One of the ways they have been doing this is through more displays. She was ready to end the abuse and addiction that plagued her life. Sandy joined our New Beginnings Program and has never been the same since. She found Christ, graduated the New Beginnings Program, and felt God calling her to something more. She joined our Ministry Intern Program, graduated that program in early January, and now is a full-time staff member at the Mission. . It's official...We have the BEST neighbors. . For the past week, our essential staff and ministry interns have gone above and beyond to care for our city's homeless during this extreme winter weather. Many pulled double shifts. She joined our Life Recovery Program and began to work of rediscovering her Jeremiah 29:11 and working to repair some of the broken relationships in her life. Today, Prani has moved on from the Mission and has started a new chapter. . Homelessness and poverty are complex issues that are not easily solved by simple temporary fixes. In order to permanently end homelessness and poverty, we must repair a series of 4 broken relationships: Relationship with God, Creation, Others, and Self.
