To Our Beloved Patients: Due to COVID-19, we wanted to communicate our commitment to you and your safety. Changes have been made throughout our office to protect you and our staff including but not limited to:  Our waiting room will no longer be in use. After checking in at the front desk, you will be asked to wait in your car until the staff calls you in for your appointment.  Unless a guardian to a minor, special needs, or disabled, only the patient will be allowed in the building; no guests allowed.  Pre-operative screening questionnaires, temperature checks, and oxygen checks will be mandatory for review prior to your appointment at the check-in desk.  Masks are mandatory for staff and encouraged for patients, but not required. WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN FOR DENTAL CARE! By order of the State of Texas and the Texas State Dental Board, Smith Dental Care was able to open again beginning Monday May 4th. We have always followed infection control recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continue to follow the activities of these agencies, so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that is issued. You may see some changes throughout our office to protect you and our staff: ~preoperative screening questions for COVID-19 symptoms directed to all patients and staff as they enter the building ~hand sanitizer is available throughout the office. Please use as needed, especially as you enter the office ~our waiting room will no longer be in use as we will be having all patients wait in their cars.
