This lovely fellow is Bane. Bane belongs to our technician Drew. His momma noticed that he had a small growth near his ear. She monitored it and brought him it to have an FNA done on it. An FNA is a procedure done with a needle to get a sample from the growth. The FNA did not reveal anything interesting so Drew went back to monitoring it. Over the weekend she realized that the growth had gotten bigger and felt different. Today we did go through with surgery to have it removed and sent off to have it biopsied. In a week we will find out what the growth actually is. In the mean time, he will be enjoying his anesthetic.
Dr. Adair with his dog, Rusty. Rusty doesn’t like the cold! 🥶 😂

🐾Be happy! It’s Friday!🐾 How cute is this Frenchie baby? 😍 His name is Bruno. 💙
Jojo came in for a dental cleaning. She is a 3 year old terrier mix. During her annual wellness visit it was recommended that she have a comprehensive oral health assessment and treatment under anesthesia. She had some tartar starting to build up causing gingivitis. By cleaning her teeth at this stage we were able to avoid extractions. We also recommend at home dental care. Brushing your dog’s teeth every day and dental chews approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council are best to maintain oral health. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment please give us a call. 🐾316-683-5661🐾
