Since 1986, St Croix Therapy, formerly known as the Special Children Center, has served families with special needs in the greater St. Croix Valley Community. The non-profit organization is designed to help young children and adolescents with sensory integration issues, children living with autism, and students with a wide range of special needs grow and thrive through innovative therapies.
By using “traditional and non-traditional” intensive therapy practices, St Croix Therapy is able to treat the emotional and physical development of children with special needs. The therapy center is also able to provide recovery therapies for adults, as raising a child with special needs is rewarding, but not without its challenges.
If you and your family live in Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities Metro area, St Croix Therapy would welcome the opportunity to help your young one grow and develop to the best of his or her ability. Currently the therapy center’s list of services includes occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and work in sensory and social groups. Through the use of important techniques, such as interactive metronome, auditory integration training, and SOS feeding, the therapy experts work toward improving the lives of families with special needs, every day.
