Good morning folks! We’re not a hundred percent yet but we are getting close to being open again!! No phone or internet yet!! With teal and bow season open and rifle just around the corner we just want you to know we are available to take in your trophies we just need a little advance notice! Please if you need to drop off or pick up either PM me or use our Facebook page to leave a message! If you can include your phone number and I’ll call as soon as possible! Also our drop off at Ty’s Taxidermy in Vidor , Texas is up and running and handle any of the CWD restricted animals just be sure to let them know they are coming to us!! Hope this helps!! We need all the business we can get right now and appreciate all of our clients both old and new!!!
This is my great friend Mike Kirkhart and his young sidekick Scott!! They drove 14 hours to deliver much needed supplies to our Houston River Baptist Church!! Generators, chainsaws, tons of baby stuff , tarps and on and on!!
Mike and I ran the taxidermy competition scene years ago and the last time we saw each other was when we judged the national competition together in 2011! I can’t say enough about all my taxidermist friends I have made over the years!! Thank you all who checked on me, some during the storm when I didn’t know how things were gonna turn out before the nite was over!! Taxidermy has been my life for almost 50 years now! I can’t say enough about the true friends that I’ve made in this industry!!! God bless you all and thanks so much!!!-
Friends and clients!! I stayed in the studio during the storm so I could save the mounts if things went south!! Boy did they ever!! Lane Daughdrill , me and the good Lord saved everything!! Mostly the good Lord because when the roof and the big door went it was kinda out of our hands!! If you have mounts here they are safe! If you have walls and want your mounts please pm or contact me on Facebook as we have no phone service!! It’s gonna be a long time before we are up and running and any funds would be greatly appreciated!! If not don’t worry our 65kw is running, freezers are cold!! Also for you out of state hunters we have our drop off location in Vidor , Tx , at Ty’s Taxidermy, exit 864 to make your deer legal to come into Louisiana with the CWD law in affect.

We finished the mallard pinwheel today! Had the logo waterjetted and acid washed!! Attached it to the mount and it just made the piece pop!!!
