The Salon opened three years ago by the pioneering team of mother and daughter Carmela and Milan Petruzelli, and is one of the few remaining businesses running strong in the up and coming urban district. Carmela has many years of experience and training in both business and the salon industry, leading her to manage and operate a national salon chain, as well as instructing hopeful stylists in color and hair design. Milan was a stylist in California for fifteen years, as well as a certified Bumble & educator, and came to South Florida to partner with mom in the creation of The Factory Salon. " I remember when I was a little girl I'd sweep the hair off the floor at my mom's shop," says Milan, whose excitement and personal style are almost contagious. Now they operate Fort Lauderdale most prestigious and elite salon together. The Factory Salon is staffed with enthusiastic and creative stylists with the combined experience of more than 30 years in the industry, all of whom love and live for hair, and believe style doesn't come with a high price tag.
