So what exactly is The Protocol? The answer is a bit complicated but here is the short version: The Protocol is much more than just a place to have a gym membership. It is a complete strength and conditioning system that has the unique ability to meet you where you are and take you to the next level.
The Protocol training methodology is rooted in three key areas:
Move Without Pain - Joint mobility is one of the most important, yet most overlooked, aspects of basic wellness. If one cannot move through normal ranges of human movement without pain, overloading that tight and stiff body with extra load (weight) or tons of reps is irresponsible and can also be dangerous. We begin all classes and private sessions with joint mobility drills and teach our clients to program personalized mobility/assistance work in their own regimens.
Build Strength - Strength is the mother of all physical attributes. We teach our clients a systematic method to build strength safely and effectively.
Improve Work Capacity - "Work Capacity" is not a term used frequently in western fitness. We define work capacity as the ability to perform full body movements, under load, for defined periods of time, without fatigue or breakdown in form. It's basically where strength meets cardiovascular endurance. This concept of training builds levels of athleticism in a way that conventional fitness can't touch. Moreover, these skills tend to translate far better into daily life activities and sports.
