A lot of my followers have reached out regarding the statue in last week’s post so I wanted to share the symbolic meaning. The 4 foot bronze statue sporting a defiant look was first placed in front the Charging Bull sculpture to draw attention to the importance of gender diversity in corporate leadership. Although initially intended to be a temporary display, the statue captivated New Yorkers and tourists alike and was moved to the NYSE permanently. The Fearless Girl represents not only female empowerment, but also symbolizes fearlessness and the strength to challenge those in power.
