Dr. Westford is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She received her undergraduate education in Biology at Pace University in New York City and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, WI. She did her internship at Jamaica Hospital Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Queens, New York. In June 2005, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine, Danbury Hospital Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Danbury, CT.
Dr. Westford specializes in the care of the pregnant woman and truly strives to make every delivery a joyful experience. Additionally, she has received advanced training in minimally invasive gynecology surgery and pelvic floor reconstruction and performs multiple procedures with the da Vinci Robot.
Originally from Guyana, South America, Dr. Westford emigrated to the United States after high school to attend college in New York City. After completing her residency in Danbury, Connecticut, she moved to Victoria, Texas. She was employed by an Ob/Gyn practice for six years before starting her own private practice. She is married and has three daughters, Gracyn Elizabeth, Kathryn Angelia and Madelyn Helena.
