“Baby bottle tooth decay” or Early Childhood Caries occurs when the sugars in liquids, other than 💧water, linger in an infant/toddlers month for a long period of time.
We recommend wiping the teeth and mouth after feedings to prevent getting cavities. 🦷

Since the pandemic, our lifestyles have changed and with that some of our habits have too. It’s not very surprising that tooth decay is on the rise and the CDC reports that about 1 of 5 (20%) children aged 5 to 11 years have at least one untreated decayed tooth.
The best way to prevent cavities is to maintain a healthy diet, brush twice per day, and floss visit the dentist every every 6 months. In addition to in-office fluoride treatments, that can prevent about one-third (33%) of cavities in baby teeth, we recommend using fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash. Studies show that children who use fluoride, have fewer cavities.
