Tracy L. Caldwell, MSN, is a nurse practitioner who provides primary care for adults at MUSC Health Primary Care – Sweetgrass in Mount Pleasant. Ms. Caldwell’s areas of interest include preventive medicine, anxiety, women’s health, and chronic disease management of conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Caldwell is originally from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and is a graduate of Wando High School. She received her associated degree in nursing from Trident Technical College and her Bachelor of Science in nursing (2011) and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Missouri - Kansas City (2013). Tracy spent 13 years as a nurse before becoming a primary care provider. She has been an NP for 6 years and is in her 5th year with MUSC Health.
Tracy loves getting to know her patients on a deeper level, spending time with each patient to learn about their family and personal life to guide their health care. She hopes to develop a partnership with each person she sees, providing all their health care options and working together to make the best choice for their personal goals. She serves as the coordinator of each patient’s health care – coordinating for general wellness and with MUSC specialists as needed.
