Recognizing that vaccine shipments have become even scarcer than before, USA Health has limited appointments available for people wanting to receive the COVID-19 vaccinations at USA Health’s highly-successful drive-through center at the Mobile Civic Center. USA Health has said from the outset that scheduling of appointments was dependent upon adequate supply of vaccine. Recent extreme weather across the nation and significant increases in demand for the vaccines have created supply shortages. To date, USA Health has provided more than 26,000 doses of vaccine to people since being the first in Mobile to administer vaccine on Dec. 15, 2020. Please continue to register on our waiting list at c19vaccine.southalabama.edu. You will be contacted as soon as you are eligible AND we have supply available.
