Nelly is looking for a forever home. She is very shy at first but once she warms up she is a total cuddle bug. Nelly just finished heartworm treatment and is looking for a new place to call home. She is 50 pounds, spayed and current on vaccinations. She was given a pro heart 12 on August 28 of this year as well. Nelly was a farm dog prior to coming in for heartworm treatment. She loves being inside these days. If you are interested in adopting Nelly please contact us through facebook or by calling the clinic 318-747-9150. If you have other pets a meet and great will have to take place prior to adoption.
WHAT IS RABIES?
Rabies is usually spread through an animal bite. Animals most likely to spread rabies include dogs, bats, coyotes, foxes, skunks, and raccoons.
Symptoms include fever, headache, excess salivation, muscle spasms, paralysis, and mental confusion.
Seek immediate medical attention after a bite or suspected bite. There is no specific treatment for rabies. Once symptoms appear, it's nearly always fatal. A vaccine can prevent infection.
As frustrating as it is we are still having phone issues. We apologize. We have contacted the phone company already. If you need us and can not get through please send us a message and someone will contact you.

Lana and Nelly need forever homes. If you can't take them please share this post.
Lana is 5 and a half spayed heartworm negative up to date on shots and pro heart 6 she listens well is potty trained crate trained and overall an amazing dog. She is SMALL DOG AGRESSIVE. She can not be with small dogs. She is fine with big dogs though
Nelly is about 6 she just completed heartworm treatment she is current on shots and pro heart 12 also spayed and does well with other dogs. Nelly does need some help with manners because she was a farm dog.
Both of these girls deserve to have homes of their own. Living in a vet clinic just doesnt cut it. They both weigh about 50 pounds.
Nelly is black and Lana is reddish/tan
