Our daughter Charly had to create an informative/demonstrative video for her end of the year project as a 4th grader. She chose to show what a dental appointment now looks like with changes due to Covid-19. I thought it was too cute not to share! Thanks to her friend Bradleigh for being her “patient”.

UPDATE
While the state of Kansas has started reopening some businesses and elective medical procedures, Finney county has not. Our health department has requested that we continue to treat emergencies(pain) only. This was extended through May 11th. We will update if that changes. Trust us, we are anxiously awaiting to take care of you. We will continue to follow guidance for everyone’s safety. Please, please, be patient with us during this time. We look forward to seeing you.

The American Dental Association and Kansas Dental Association has strongly recommended that all dental offices close for the short term. We feel it is our duty to follow these guidelines for everyone’s well-being. We are currently closed through the end of next week (March 27) and will be re-evaluating week by week as this evolves.
It is important to us that all patients are taken care of. We will be checking messages and handling any emergencies/toothaches that need immediate treatment.
In order to have a healthy body, you have to have a healthy mouth. We will do our best to get appointments rescheduled in a timely manner.

At this point in time, the American Dental Association (ADA) firmly believes dental care can continue to be delivered safely. Dental care is essential health care.
Guidance recommended by the ADA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continue to safeguard the health of the public. Regular dental visits are important because treatment, as well as prevention of dental disease, helps keep people healthy.
To date, according to the CDC, there has been no documented transmission of COVID-19 in a clinical dental setting. Additionally, a study published in The Journal of the American Dental Association found the prevalence of COVID-19 among dentists to be less than one percent.
