When Dr. Wafaa Alrashid opened her own practice in Pasadena, California, her goal was to provide excellent healthcare both inside and out. As a primary care physician, Dr. Alrashid emphasizes preventive and comprehensive care to ensure long-term health and wellness among her patients. She also understands that taking care of the body sometimes includes providing an extra boost on the outside.
To that end, Dr. Alrashid has expanded her practice to include aesthetic treatments.
Dr. Alrashid was born and raised in Logan, Utah, and received her bachelor of science degree at Utah State University. After graduating, Dr. Alrashid attended Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, and received her doctorate of medicine in 2004. Between 2004 and 2007, she completed her residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California, and continued to practice and teach as a hospitalist from 2007 through 2015. In 2015, she went into Primary Care and opened her own practice in Pasadena.
